Trying to integrate the small/indie web into my life has been hard.
I am currently at home right now just chilling because I didn't go on a waterpark excursion that my school offered our grade to go to and I don't want to sit down for hours inside a sweaty hall with nothing, So here I am and I want to talk about something I have been trying to do for a while now.
As I mentioned in my introductory blog, One of the reasons why I started blogging was to be less reliant on social media but on the grander scheme of things, My attempt to integrate the small/indie web into my life and escape the big evil tech corpos that are stealing my information. People complain a lot about how the internet has gone to shit now or something, And as someone who likes the internet and agrees, I wanted to do something about it and I ended up getting a video on my recommendations on a guide to the indie web which is what caused me to start this blog.
So far, It has not been going so great, I am still pretty reliant on social media as I was when I started and part of that is due to my laziness. It's also a huge reason why I haven't made a video on YouTube yet despite me wanting to make a channel, I am a huge slacker. I probably made a blog post about my laziness but it's really bad, Not even my hyperfixations could overcome my slacker behaviour, It's stopped me from watching movies and shows and playing games to completion, I was always moving from one thing to another and never really giving it my all.
Hopefully it is different with the small/indie web, I have not completely forgotten about it and I have been trying my hardest to write up blog posts, It's hard but I hope to finally get it into my life.
