Halloween's Biggest Horror this year: Grokipedia
Yesterday I was made aware of a new internet encyclopedia on Xitter. Made by everyone's favourite billionaire asswipe Elongated Musked.
If you can already guess, This. Is. Horrifying. And a perfect fit for the Halloween season. I don't think I have to tell you all why this is horrifying but I will tell you guys anyways because I have learned from being terminally online that some people really do not get it.
No. 1, The entire point of Grokipedia is to fuel the circlejerk of chuds (Because using the term "right-wing" is a little too long for my liking.) through being biased as hell. It claims to be a better alternative to Wikipedia due to so-called propaganda by leftist cucks. While it is mostly the same to Wikipedia articles, There are some differences especially when it comes to more politically charged topics. For example, the word "Chud" is a derogatory slur. Not even kidding thats actually how Grokipedia defines "Chud". These people are so sensitive that they can't handle being called a slur despite liking slurs. Also the article on socialism is heavily biased too.
No. 2 and my biggest concern, It is completely devoid of humanity. The entire thing is run by an AI Bot, While I do think that using AI for PERSONAL use is totally fine, It is much more of an issue when you are using AI for public use or education purposes like building an encyclopedia and ultimately the reason why Grokipedia will be a sad sad "alternative" to the clearly superior Wikipedia. By using AI to build the Encyclopedia, It can be trained (And is pretty clearly) on anything you want it to be trained on and it will just oblige to you. This is dangerous because with AI, you can use it to fuel any sort of agenda you want since it will never say No to you. In addition, Grokipedia (despite Musk's claims) Is not open source. There is no way to review what is inside Grokipedia which only adds fuel to the fire.
So yeah, Thats my opinion on Grokipedia. It's bad in every single way imaginable and it's doomed to fail.
